Kickin’ it with Kiz: Fearless predictions for Emmanuel Sanders in 2016: 1) Lead Broncos in catches; 2) Break bank

Broncos receiver Emmanuel Sanders has the best attitude on the team. Pay that man, John Elway, so we can keep Sanders at 5,280 feet above sea level.

– Alan, Chicago

Kiz: Yes, Sanders deserves to get paid. There’s no doubt about it. But put this man in a contract year, and he will put up Pro Bowl numbers. It doesn’t matter if the quarterback is Mark Sanchez, Trevor Siemian or Kermit the Frog. Sanders is going to lead the team in receptions and be the offensive MVP of the Broncos in 2016. When Sanders gets that rich, new deal, I can’t wait to see his next ride. Instead of a Ferrari 458 Spider that he now owns, he might buy Sir Richard Branson’s space shuttle.

Woody Paige leaving The Denver Post is a big moment for me. I have so much respect for his work and the fact he was so darn Denver. I read a Broncos book he wrote three times in middle school. My life’s passion is sports and Woody was a major part of fueling it. He took his own unique style to the national media stage and held it down for Denver. We all love this state so much and he repped us well. So I just hope Woody reads this and knows how much he meant to a kid that cared so much about what he had to say.

– Connor, Austin, Texas

Kiz: More than 25 years ago, Paige was the reason – the only reason – I got a shot at writing a sports column at The Post. So here’s a big tip of the cap to you, Woodman. Thanks for everything you’ve done for me, The Post and Denver sports lovers.

I never read sports, but my husband drew my attention to your Olympic column with the reference to dancarinos. Sounds like a great idea to me. Why should women have to neglect their dancing skills and fun just because men their age are scarce or unwilling?

– Bonnie, light on her feet

Kiz: Ah, yes. The dancarinos, who were one of my first, great surprises of Rio 2016. The dancarinos are young, buff, wear tight shirts and earn $75 per night by doing the samba with elderly women in the clubs of Rio De Janeiro. Beats working, don’t you think? Now that I think about it, dancarino could be a great second career for me. All I need is a few tight shirts. And to get buff. And to learn how to dance. Other than that. OK, never mind.

And today’s parting shot is one of the first rules of fishing: For trolling to be successful, the fish have to want to get caught.

As in the instance of the columns from the Olympics, when Kiz is on he is money. Other times, I wonder if he’s trolling us. That’s a mark of a good columnist.

– Owen, Louisville, Ky.
